Lebanon Valley Rails-to-Trail

This Rails-to-Trail presently runs 9 miles from Route 72 north of Mt. Gretna, to the Lebanon/Lancaster County line, where it connects with the Conewago Recreational Trail.  Plans are underway to extend the trail north to the City of Lebanon.

The trail was formerly the Cornwall-Lebanon Railroad, built in the late 1880s by Robert H. Coleman, owner and operator of the Cornwall Furnace.  Hiking, biking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing are permitted.  Access with parking is available at the parking area in Colebrook and the Lawn Community Park.
