TRI-COUNTY CONEWAGO CREEK ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING, NOVEMBER 4, 2002, 7:00 PM MINUTES All Board members except Tim Hoover and Chad Angle were present. I. Watershed Assessment A discussion was held regarding TCCCA's choice of consultants. The Board considered both Skelly & Loy and Rettew to be very capable of doing the job. Tom Murray's points about the Link-n-Log technology and the GIS compatibility between Tom and Rettew were well taken. Hal Royer pointed out that the Link-n-Log could be used as an educational and outreach tool. A vote was taken and the Board voted on Rettew. Matt will follow up with both Mark Metzler of Rettew and Todd Moses of Skelly & Loy. II. Growing Greener Grant Discussion was held regarding the logo design. Pam Hile, the graphic artist retained to do the web site and brochure designs, would be able to design the logo for $198.00. This includes an initial meeting, three designs and two revisions, and preparation of the final logo on CD (web or print quality). The Board voted to retain Pam for these services. Question was raised as to whether the logo will needed to be registered. III. Stoffel Property Project Update Frank will lay out the plots sometime soon. Native seeds collected can be planted any time prior to first ground freeze. IV. November/December Meeting Schedule The Board agreed to hold the November membership meeting one week early (11/20) because of Thanksgiving. It was agreed that there would be no December meetings because of the holidays. V. Appointment of Membership Committee Board members Lindsey Morris, Hal Royer and Tom Murray agreed to serve on the membership committee. Matt will approach Linda and Kristan McKinne about serving as well. VI. New Business Audubon Society is sponsoring a wildlife/birding viewing program. The Board should discuss whether any sites in the watershed are worthy of nomination. Directors are encouraged to visit the Audubon web site. VII. Next Board Meeting Next Board meeting will be held in January if needed.
