TRI-COUNTY CONEWAGO CREEK ASSOCIATION
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING – July 31, 2002, 5:30 – 7:00 PM
MEETING MINUTES

I.	Welcome and Introduction

Board members present:  Matt Royer, Hal Royer, Mike McKinne, Erin McKinne, Tom Murray, 
Jay Book.  A few other General members were also present.

II.	Watershed Assessments

The Board met with County Conservation District Watershed Specialists, Stephanie Harmon, 
Matt Kofroth, Andy McAllister, Jeremy Trexler, and DEP Watershed Manager Jineen Boyer, to 
discuss the concept of "watershed assessments".  The discussion centered on leading the TCCCA 
toward a watershed assessment and restoration plan for the entire Conewago Creek Watershed.  
Such a project will allow the group to pinpoint the problem areas of the creek and its tributaries, 
and help to prioritize areas for future stream improvement projects.  

Many questions, issues, and concerns were brought up and discussed.  Future deliberations will 
need to include all members in order to best outline a plan of action. 

VI.	Next Meeting

The next Board meeting will be held Wednesday, August 14th at 7:00 at the Milton Hershey 
Environmental Center.
