He has a bare streambank that he would like us to plant with native flora. The tentative date for a property "prep" day is Saturday, September 28th. A few members are working on funding/seed donations. A few suggestions offered at the meeting are local TU Chapters, seed distributors in the watershed (i.e., Pioneer Seeds), CBF and local school FFA's. The United Way Day of Caring project has fallen through because the property does not lie within Lancaster county. ? Lancaster County Watershed Forum: October 5th, 9am-1pm ? Lebanon County Watershed Forum: November 9th, 9am – noon ? The group has been invited to participate at the Lebanon Valley Rails-to-Trail Grand Opening to be held on October 26th. He has researched the CREP program but is concerned with the upfront cost. ? The Milton Hershey Trust has 20 acres of property that they have suggested could be "donated" for a TCCCA project. V. Funding and Organizational Report Volunteers are needed for the Art Show Fundraiser to be held on September 21st and 22nd (from 10am - 4pm). The art show is to be held at Lynn Szymborski's farm on Geyers Church Road in Dauphin County. Matt Kofroth announced that the group has received a Growing Greener Grant.
