Conewago Fish Sampling a Success!

On June 22, 2021, TCCCA partnered with the Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center, Lancaster County Conservation District, Susquehanna River Basin Commission and other Conewago Initiative partners to conduct the triennial fish sampling of Conewago Creek. Every three years, fish are surveyed at three locations: the headwaters in Game Lands 145, the Hershey Meadows restoration site, and downstream at Covered Bridge Road.  Between the three site locations, over thirty different species were identified. Additional sampling was conducted at the future site of the Londonderry Township stream restoration project off Hoffer Road. Check out the photos below!
