TCCCA is partnering with Lebanon Valley Conservancy and the Penn State “Greening the Lower Susquehanna” program to plant 100 trees at the Hess Farm on Thursday, April 24, 3-6pm, 5641 Gingrich Road, Palmyra. This was one of TCCCA’s earliest watershed projects–we partnered with the Hess family to add livestakes to a newly planted buffer over twenty years ago! The buffer has grown into a beautiful streamside forest, but is in need of some replants to fill in some gaps. Join us for an afternoon of planting! Dress for muddy conditions and be prepared to get dirty. Bring bring gloves, shovel, and a hand mallet.
